On January 12, 2021. Chairman of the Committee of Veterinary Sciences and Biology of Reproduction of the Polish Academy of Sciences, prof. Wojciech Niżański in dialogue with the Chairman of the Council of the National Science Center, Prof. Jacek Kuźnicki, received an assurance that the "well-started dialogue" would be continued, as agreed in the memo from the meeting of December 8, 2021 (attached on the website of KNWiBR PAN), despite this that part of the veterinary community took different actions without consulting the Committee.
On January 12, 2022. Chairman of the NCN Council, prof. Jacek Kuźnicki and the Chairman of KNWiBR PAN, prof. Wojciech Niżański approved the implementation of the road map adopted at the meeting on December 8, 2021. and agreed the order of joint actions to be taken.
Currently, the NCN and the KNWiBR PAN are at the stage of organizing training in the preparation of applications for funding to the NCN, organizing the work of the team in the development of veterinary-specific "descriptors" and searching for journals that would be helpful for the NCN in assigning experts to the panels. Prof. Kuźnicki offered in addition, personal consultations with centers representing veterinary science.
Chairman of the committee prof. Wojciech Niżański asked all scientific centers representing veterinary science and all members of the KNWiBR PAN to disseminate in their communities information about the fact that the committee conducts a fruitful dialogue with the NCN Council.

On May 27, 2021. was send to the Chairman of the Council of the National Science Center, Prof. Jacek Kuźnicki, a letter regarding changes in the system of allocating funds for financing veterinary projects, the proposal of which was accepted by us during the plenary meeting on May 25, 2021 At the same time, I would like to add that the solutions proposed by the Presidium of the Committee have also received full approval of the entire veterinary community, represented by all national veterinary research centers.
